LOS ANGELES — The woman who accused Grizzlies star Zach Randolph of assaulting her last month is now admitting that she lied.

The woman told investigators she made the whole thing up just to get money from Randolph after they had an argument, according to TMZ.

She claimed Randolph hit her in the neck and back, but later admitted that she enlisted a friend to help her make the bruises.

The woman reportedly signed a document recanting the accusation.

There’s no word on whether she’ll face false reporting charges.

Just last week, Randolph helped the Grizz break a losing streak even as he recovers from an ankle injury.
