MEMPHIS, Tenn-Tigers forward Dedric Lawson sniffed at another triple-double, but it wasn’t enough to lift Memphis to a win over Monmouth Tuesday night in FedExForum. Lawson finished with 18 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists, but the Tigers couldn’t protect a 12-point second half lead and lost to Monmouth, 82-79. Five Tigers finished in double figures, but the Tigers botched their final two possessions that could’ve given them the lead. Memphis is now 7-3 and travels to Oklahoma on Saturday.
