After 14 years on the job, the Superintendent of Memphis Catholic Schools plans to retire at the end of June. Dr. Mary McDonald oversees 29 schools that serve children, regardless of their faith, or background. In fact, she reopened several inner-city Jubilee schools and has just watched students from the very first kindergarten classes there graduate. Among them, Marshun Redmond, who’s here with Dr. McDonald.
