WEST POINT, Miss. — Authorities have identified a young woman who was shot and killed while attending a rap concert early Friday morning.

Gunfire erupted inside the Bryan Union Hall during a Moneybagg Yo concert, hitting Dajah Shaw. She was struck in the chest, but it’s not clear if she was the intended victim.  She was rushed to the hospital in Columbus where she was pronounced dead.

“We have recovered shell casings from at least two different weapons but it’s not clear who started the shooting or why. These incidents are particularly challenging for investigators because of the large number of people and the low lighting of the venue that tend to distort the perception of any witnesses,” West Point Police Chief Tim Brinkley told WCBI.

This isn’t the first time the Memphis rapper has had problems at his shows.

Back in March, 28 people were arrested in Mason, Tennessee during a CD release concert for the rapper. The Tipton County Sheriff’s Office said the focus was on criminal and gang activities.

Moneybagg Yo, whose real name is Demario White,  was also arrested.
