WOODRUFF, SC. — A woman who went missing back in September with her boyfriend back in September has been found alive.

According to WBTW, Sheriff Chuck Wright confirmed deputies found Kala Brown chained up like a dog in a large metal container. She reportedly got the officers’ attention by banging on the walls, reported WYFF.

Authorities believe she had been kept in the container for the last two months.

Sources also reported Brown told investigators there may be more people on the property.

The suspect, Todd Kohlhepp, was arrested Thursday morning and was taken to a nearby detention center. Kohlhepp is a registered sex offender and owns the property where Brown was discovered.

So far, there is no sign of Brown’s boyfriend, Charlie Carver.
