JONESBORO, Ark. — A woman was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash in Jonesboro.
Police identified the woman as Summer Sechrest, 25, of West Memphis.
Sechrest was driving eastbound on Parker Road and crossed into oncoming traffic, police said.
A semi-truck traveling westbound tried to stop but ended up locking up and sliding into the eastbound lane, police said. Sechrest’s car swerved back into the eastbound lane, and they crashed head-on.
The driver of the semi-truck was not hurt, police said.
