Warming center opens as temperatures plunge

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Need to get out of the cold? The city has opened a warming center on North Parkway at the Lewis Senior Center for those who need a place to keep warm.

The center will be open until further notice.

If you need a ride call (901) 636-2525.

You can also receive help at the Memphis Union Mission on Poplar Avenue and the Salvation Army on Jackson Avenue.
