One person dead, another critical after shooting in Raleigh

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people were shot Monday night in an apartment complex in Raleigh.

Memphis Police responded to a shooting in the 4500 block of Sawmill Drive around 8:30 p.m.

One victim was taken to Regional Medical Center in critical condition. The other was taken to Methodist North by a private vehicle.

Several hours later, police confirmed that the victim that was taken rushed to the Regional Medical Center had died.
