MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Southbound traffic on the Interstate 55 Bridge over the Mississippi River is moving again after an 11 hour shutdown.

A semi-truck caught fire just after 3 a.m. Wednesday in the southbound lanes.

TDOT cameras on the bridge showed intense flames coming from the truck and its trailer.

Northbound traffic resumed just before 4 a.m.

There are no reports of injuries.
