AUBURN, Wash. — A Washington State Patrol trooper caught someone illegally using the carpool lane Tuesday morning…and in a pretty unique way, KCPQ reported.

Trooper Greg Ulrich must have thought the passenger’s head seemed much larger than average as the car passed by on SR 167 in Auburn.

As it turns out, that driver should not have been in the HOV lane at all. The passenger turned out to be a cardboard cutout of Donald Trump’s head attached to the headrest.

Troopers told KCPQ that violators face a minimum fine of $136.
