(Bolivar, TN)  Police arrested a computer technology teacher Sunday for drinking and driving and having illegal drugs, and the intent to sell prescription drugs. Police pulled over Braden Kessler for driving on a flat tire, and said he was unsteady on his feet, glossy eyed and smelling of alcohol.

Officers found a bottle of Xanax, a medicine bottle with a green stem believed to be marijuana, and a glass pipe.

Jovan White said Kessler taught him at Bolivar Central High School. Students  were going about their typical, normal fall activities with no idea the man who reportedly taught computer classes  — had been locked up for having drugs.

“He was a cool dude, I didn’t know anything about his hobbies or anything but he was a nice guy”, said White.

We’re told the arrested teacher’s Dad is the former principal at Bolivar Central. Our digging shows they both live at this home on Blake Cove but no one would talk to us to confirm the relationship.
