NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is handling a deadly officer-involved shooting in Williamson County.

According to WTVF,  it all started when a deputy spotted a stolen Chevrolet Equinox.

The driver reportedly refused to stop, leading at least three deputies on a chase that ended on an I-65 overpass just off exit 61.

The suspect got out of the vehicle and pulled a gun.

One of the three deputies on the scene opened fire, killing the suspect, WTVF reported.

The TBI named the man deputies killed as David Bryan Creson.

However, agents did say the deceased had several warrants out for his arrest and was driving a stolen vehicle.

One deputy was injured, but investigators said he was not shot.
