(Memphis) A graduation ceremony for students and some parents was held this afternoon.
Douglass Optional School held its promotional ceremony for 8th graders now heading to high school.
As usual, there was a lot of pomp and circumstance.
The school also honored graduates from the Memphis Stand For Children’s parent engagement program.
It’s the first of its kind in the country, helping parents help their children.
