MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Firefighters responded to a fire Thursday around 5 p.m. near the ServiceMaster headquarters in downtown Memphis.
Second Street between Union and Peabody was blocked off for about two hours. Smoke was showing from the roof of the building.
Firefighters could be seen on the roof with hoses.
Lt. Wayne Cooke with MFD said Texas de Brazil’s ventilation system caught fire, but the fire was contained to the ventilation system. There were no injuries and no serious building damage.
