MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is in facing charges after a robbery involved shots being fired and someone being hit with a car on Friday.

Keldrick Taylor is facing three counts of aggravated robbery and attempted second degree murder.

Arrest records say police were called to Upgrade Auto Sales on Mississippi on Friday afternoon. An employee told police he was going to make a bank deposit when Taylor entered the business with two guns. The employee gave Taylor the money and then he allegedly pointed the gun at another employee. Records say he took wallets from two other employees.

One man says that people are just desperate for money.

"With the economy we're in, a lot of people are at their ropes and desperate for money," he said.

Police say Taylor took off on foot. The owner of the car lot chased him while an employee followed in a car. The records say Taylor turned around and fired shots at the two in and the employee hit him with the car.

"I might have went to all extends to save my customer's money," one man said.

WREG found out Taylor has a long history of crime from drug use to aggravated robbery. In 2011, he was sentenced to 8 years in prison for robbing three women of their phones and purses.

Police Taylor was identified as the suspect in a police line up. He is scheduled for court Tuesday morning.
