Several schools canceled, delayed due to weather

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Several schools have delayed the start of class on Tuesday due to the weather.

Schools that are closed today include Lake County, Crockett County, Obion County and St. Mary’s Episcopal School.

Marion and Forrest City Schools will open at 10 a.m.

Shelby County Schools and Germantown Municipal School District said classes will start on time this morning.

Noth Kingsbury Middle and High School will be released at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday after it was determined that repairs to a gas leak could not be made in a timely manner that would allow the school day to continue.
