MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A routine inspection of the Mississippi River Bridge will force crews to temporarily shutdown lanes.

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department said starting on Monday, December 5, the outside southbound lane on I-55 crossing the bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. This will continue until Thursday, December 8.

The outside northbound lanes will be closed during the same time period on Wednesday, December 7 through December 15.

Drivers are encouraged to use extreme caution when traveling through this area.
