WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — Thick black smoke can be seen in West Memphis at this hour.

Several stacks of railroad ties are burning.

Those ties are typically coated in Creosote, made partly from tar that creates a thick black smoke when it burns.

This is happening on Mound City Road, near I-40.
