CLARKSDALE, Miss. —  Police announced on Thursday they have made an arrest in a triple murder case that happened a few days ago in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

Duane Lake was charged with one county of felony taking of a motor vehicle. They said he is also a person of interest in the homicide investigation that left 69-year-old Alton Bruce,  28-year-old Candace Roper and her unborn child dead.

WREG reported all three were found dead by Roper’s landlord on October 1 inside a home in the 1400 block of King Street.

Lake’s bond was set at $50,000.
