Two men dead in Frayser double shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police are at the scene where two men died in a shooting in Frayser on Thursday morning.

Police said two men were found with gunshot wounds at 4443 Sunny View. Both of them were dead on the scene.

Police also said the suspect could be known to the victims. but they have not yet arrested anyone in connection to the double homicide.

Murders in Memphis are already up at least 48 percent over the same period in 2018. Mayor Strickland says he wants more community involvement.

People who live in the area agree that they don’t want the violence in their neighborhood. “It normally be quiet here, but certain people come from other areas and a lot of stuff be happening,” a resident said.
