MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis fire crews are heading to the scene of a fire involving a police officer.

According to the Memphis Police, an officer responded to an accident at Poplar and Brookfield shortly sometime after 2 p.m.

While on the scene, his patrol car caught on fire.

Thankfully no one was injured.

It’s unclear how the cruiser caught on fire or the extent of the damage.
