According to police, Keara Williams was driving the car that struck 11-year-old Rakayla Blount in the 5100 block of Millbranch. The child was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital where she later died. Williams remained on the scene, police said. She has not been charged for the child’s death. Instead, she was charged with driving without a license and violation of financial law.
