Pedestrian hit, killed in southeast Memphis


MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police say a pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in southeast Memphis Friday night.

The accident happened at around 9 p.m. in the area of Winchester and Goodlett.

The victim was reportedly struck by two cars while trying to cross the street. Police say both cars stayed on the scene.

The crash is still under investigation.
