MEMPHIS, Tenn. —  Parts of Downtown Memphis were left in the dark early Tuesday morning. According to WREG’s Melissa Moon, the power outage extended from B.B. King Boulevard to Riverside Drive, and north to south from Monroe to Auction. The lights on the bridge were also out, she said. Over in Harbor Town, the railroad crossing gates became stuck, at times creating a backup as drivers cautiously approached to drive through it. The cause of the power outage is still under investigation. WREG was told power was restored around 6:30 a.m.
