MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Police are looking for a pair of thieves who they say tried to pocket sunglasses from Sunglass Hut at Wolfchase Galleria Mall.
Police said the duo got away with at least three pairs of sunglasses. That is about $730 worth of merchandise.
Surveillance photos from the scene showed one of the suspects was wearing a US Postal Service uniform.
Police said that woman was the look out. Her friend snatched the fancy accessories.
Antonio Jones said he`s worked in retail for years and is yet to see a crook wearing a uniform while committing a crime.
"Usually they wear plain clothes nothing you can identify them with," he told WREG.
Shopper Tameka Horne couldn`t believe the women walked into the busy mall and even tried to pull off such a scheme.
"That`s pretty bold and brazen," she said. "It`s a busy mall at all times."
And she's right.
While the suspects may have gotten away, They were caught red-handed on camera from many different angles.
With that in mind, investigators said it's only a matter of time before the women are identified and arrested for the crime.
