MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Police are searching for answers in the city's latest homicide.

The body of a man was found inside a Honda Accord early Tuesday morning. Loved ones identified the victim as Marlon Toney, who lived on the road he was found on.

Investigators could be seen pointing out bullet holes in the side of Toney's car this morning. The driver's side window was shattered, but there were no signs of any glass or shell casings on the ground.

Toney's loved ones began gathering at the scene Tuesday as we were there.

"When I got the phone call I new something was going o."

Jason Meadow said his sister was engaged to Toney. He had talked to him just last night.

"It's unbelievable man, it's unbelievable. Where is Tori? I don't know... that's his son."

Toney's son didn't want to talk on camera but said his aunt found his father in the car when she went to let her dog out this morning. The car was still running.

Friends said Toney loved to ride motorcycles and work in his yard. But more than anything else, he loved everyone.

"It's hurting me inside. It's hurting. He was a good friend to everybody so I was just hoping it was a dream."
