MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person was killed Saturday in a multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 240 near Perkins, police say.
Two vehicles were overturned in the crash, police said around 4 p.m. Traffic was down to one lane.
Police have identified the deceased victim as 35-year-old Ashley Buckhanon.
Another person was taken to Regional One in critical condition. The second victim’s condition was upgraded to non-critical Sunday morning.
Memphis police say the driver of the second vehicle, 78-year-old Morris Reed, has been charged with reckless vehicular homicide, aggravated assault and reckless driving.
