SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — One person was injured in a shooting Friday morning in Cordova.

Shelby County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Jessica Lauren Drive north of Shelby Farms around 5 Friday morning.

The sheriff’s office says one person was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. One person was detained.

The shooting was believed to have stemmed from a domestic situation, the sheriff’s office said.
