LOGAN COUNTY, Ark. — One person was tragically killed and eight others injured following a crash on the Highway 109 bridge over the Arkansas River. According to KFSM, a Chevrolet stalled in the northbound lanes. As a Mercury was slowing down for the vehicle the driver of a Ford, identified as 46-year-old Robin Freeman, hit the car, sending it into the railing. The Ford then sailed into the Chevrolet. Two of those vehicles caught on fire after the crash. Freeman died during the accident. The other victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
