MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss. — Investigators were called to the Marshall County Correctional Facility after another inmate death Thursday, WREG has learned.
Prison officials confirmed the inmate who died was Nora Ducksworth, 52. They said Ducksworth passed away around noon Jan. 30 due to natural causes.
An autopsy will determine Ducksworth’s cause of death, but no foul play is suspected.
Ducksworth was serving two life sentences for robbery and murder.
This is the second inmate to have died at the facility since Saturday evening and the 14th inmate death across the state since late December.
