NWS cancels Freezing Fog Advisory

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Freezing Fog Advisory has been canceled for the Mid-South.

The advisory was in effect for Marshall, Benton, Tippah, Alcorn Tishomingo, Prentiss, Lafayette, Union, Pontotoc, Lee, Itawamba, Yalobusha, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Monroe, Madison, Chester, Henderson, Decatur, Fayette, Hardeman, McNairy, and Hardin Counties until 10 a.m.

According to the National Weather Service, the advisory means visibility on roadways will be reduced to less than one quarter mile. Drivers should use extra caution as roads could be slick.
