MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Steve Davis told WREG car burglaries are already too prevalent in his Midtown neighborhood.

"They broke into me Monday night, got both my cars."

But he said the one who dropped by his neighbor's house early Tuesday morning sure stood out.

"You could see him clear on the camera with all the reflective."

Police said David Dockery broke into at least four cars up and down Agnes Place all the while wearing a FedEx uniform.

"He had a black like they wear at the airport with the reflective stripes on the back and front."

Despite the uniform, FedEx said Dockery doesn't work for them.

But he sure had his work cut out for him Tuesday morning when Davis' neighbor caught him in the act.

"He had a pistol with him, he racked it, and the guy, I guess, heard him."

At that point, Dockery took off, and the neighbor gave chase with the gun in hand while his wife called the police.

"Police response times were great. Took him five minutes to catch him."
