Police respond to two shootings in Southwest Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. —Police responded Thursday afternoon to two different shootings in Southwest Memphis.

A man with a gunshot wound showed up at the fire station in the 3900 block of Weaver Road. Police had not yet provided more information as of 5:30.

Just north from that incident, police were also responding to a shooting in the 3100 block of Ford Road. Police said a 17-year-old male was shot.

The victim was transported in critical condition to the hospital. No suspect information is available at this point.

These are ongoing investigations.
