DUNDEE, Mich. — Officials are investigating how a Michigan couple died after they collapsed at the same time.
Police said neighbors found Cameron Hulet, 28, and his wife Courtney Hulet, 20, Tuesday.
The neighbors thought they were passed out at first, but the couple was later found to be dead, police said.
They had suddenly collapsed and died while they were just about to eat dinner, according to the Monroe News.
The medical examiner has not yet determined their cause of death, but there wasn’t any sign of foul play, police said.
“It’s really a puzzle,” Dundee village manager Dave Uhl told the Monroe News. “There is no indication as to what happened. It’s a mystery.”
Police found drug paraphernalia and what they believe is marijuana in their home.
Police also said the couple has two kids who were in the custody of Children’s Protective Services at the time.
