MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A local rapper is behind bars and charged with driving under the influence.

Around 3 a.m. Sunday, Bartlett Police pulled over Patrick Lanshaw, also known as Lil Wyte, on suspicion of DUI after an officer saw him weaving on Highway 64 and coming on and off the road.

Multiple officers said they smelled alcohol on Lanshaw’s breath and said he had watery eyes.

Lanshaw did poorly on a field sobriety test, according to the affidavit. He refused a breathalyzer or blood test.

He was arrested and police received a warrant for a blood test, though police have not released the results of that test.
