(Memphis, TN) – Good News for the Memphis Children’s Museum.
The Museum has won accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums.
The Memphis Museum is only the 8th Children’s Museum in the country to get the honor.
The Washington-based advocacy organization and watchdog group that develops standards for the country’s estimated 17,500 museums, science centers, historic sites, and aquariums.
Only about 1,000 of those institutions have been awarded accreditation.
The Museum will celebrate its 24th birthday on June 16 of this year.
