SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — A car is trapped under an 18-wheeler after a crash at Getwell and Goodman Road in Southaven, MS Wednesday, confirms the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
The Southaven Police Department responded to the scene around 4:30 p.m.
Police say a Fiat convertible, that was going westbound on Goodman, made a left turn in front of the Fed-Ex semi that was going eastbound.
It appears both vehicles entered the intersection while the light was on yellow.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The driver of the Fiat was air-lifted to Regional One Hospital. His condition is unknown.
