Marshall County deputy seriously injured after being run over by suspects in stolen car

MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss. — A Mississippi deputy was seriously injured after he was reportedly run over in Marshall County on Monday.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, the deputy was trying to stop two suspects in a stolen vehicle when the officer was run over by the suspects along Interstate 22 between Red Banks and the West Holly Springs exit.

The deputy was seriously injured, authorities said.

The two suspects have been captured.
