MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A convicted felon who killed an off-duty Memphis Police Officer is headed to jail.

Lorenzo Clark was sentenced to 51 months in Federal prison for being a felon in possession of a gun.

His wife, Natalie, was sentenced to one year and one day for providing Clark with guns.

Police said Clark and Officer Terence Olridge got into an argument and shot at one another in their Cordova neighborhood October 11, 2015.

Olridge was on his way to work when the argument started, was shot multiple times and died at a hospital.

Police said it was not clear who fired the first shot and Clark has never been charged in connection with Olridge’s death.
