WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — The man wanted for shooting and killing a man early Friday morning has been taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder and terroristic acts.
According to authorities, Jeremiah Burns was quickly developed as a suspect in the murder of Gregory Brown in the 2500 block of East Thompson Street. Detectives were told the two men got into a fight over a woman, and that’s when Burns pulled out a gun, shooting Brown multiple times.
Several hours later, Burns turned himself in at the West Memphis Police Department.
He is expected to be in court on Monday.
