Man shot after pointing gun at Ferguson, Missouri police

FERGUSON, Mo. — After several days of protests and riots and looting, people are tense in Ferguson, Missouri where a teen was shot and killed by police.

Around 1 Wednesday morning, four men in ski masks  and carrying shotguns approached a crowd of people and several shots were fired.

Police chased the suspected shooter who reportedly pointed his gun at the officer.

The man was shot by police and is in critical condition.

The officer was not hurt and the suspect’s gun has been recovered.

An hour earlier, a woman was shot in the head during a drive-by shooting.

KTVI-TV reports there are concerns about the new Black Panther Party trying to start trouble in St. Louis.
