MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis man has been charged after a double murder.
Joe Fifer and Tamara Davis were found shot to death in the 4700 block of Haven Court January 9.
Davis was pregnant, and her baby was deemed viable.
Police say Gerald Shields told them he and two other males planned to rob Fifer.
Shields said his job was to knock on the door and then the two other males ran in and shots were fired.
He is charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
