MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people were sent to the hospital after a crash on I-240 near Mt. Moriah Tuesday night.

Police say the two-vehicle accident happened in the westbound lanes around 7:05 p.m.

One of the vehicles was overturned. Two men were taken to area hospitals in non-critical condition.

Memphis Police is asking drivers to avoid the area and use an alternate route at this time.
