MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people are in critical condition after a shooting in Raleigh Sunday morning, Memphis Police say.

Officers responded to a shooting call at Ridgemont Avenue and Old Allen Road at 3 a.m. where they located an apparent crime scene.

Officers then responded to Methodist North regarding two shooting victims who arrived by private vehicle, police say.

Both victims were reportedly suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. They were both airlifted to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

Five houses were reportedly hit by gunfire, but no one in the homes was injured. Neighbors say they heard over 50 gunshots.

Home surveillance video showed at least four people jumping out of a car with guns drawn and shooting just feet from homes on Old Allen. It appeared that they were aiming at another vehicle.

One neighbor says they heard someone yell for help, and another said she got on the ground and crawled to get her phone to call 911.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
