MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One man is dead following a car accident on I-240E Thursday morning.

According to the Memphis Police Department, the crash happened on I-240E and Millbranch Road.

One car was going eastbound on the I-240E entrance ramp when it struck the back of another vehicle, police say.

Reports state that the second vehicle then hit a male pedestrian. He was later pronounced dead.
