MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person was injured in a shooting near a motel in southwest Memphis Saturday night, Memphis Police say.

Officers responded to a shooting at Motel 61 on South Third Street near East Belle Haven Road just before 8 p.m.

Police say a man was found and taken to Regional One in critical condition. The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a red sedan.
