MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people are dead after being killed Sunday morning in separate shootings.
A man was shot dead Sunday morning in the 1500 block of Parkway View Circle.
The shooting happened around 9 a.m. Officers pronounced the victim dead on the scene. The known suspect fled the scene, according to police.
MPD later said another person died after being shot around 3 a.m. Sunday morning. It happened in the 4000 block of National Street. The victim was dropped off in the 600 block of National Street by a private vehicle.
He was then taken to the hospital where he died. One person has been detained in this shooting.
