MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A shooting in South Memphis left one person dead Tuesday, three months after another double shooting that killed a teenager at the same house.

Officers were called out to 285 Gaston Avenue around midnight. The victim was taken to the Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Neighbors told us children live in the home where the deadly attack happened.

It’s unclear if the children were home at the time, but what is clear, the house where this happened is well-known to police.

Back in January, police reported that an 18-year-old was killed and a 13-year-old was shot at the same address on Gaston Avenue.

Former resident Bobby Will, who used to maintain the yard, said he and his two dogs left the area two years ago.

“These people out here are killing people and robbing people every day. Every time you look on the news, that’s what’s going on,” Will said.

There is growing concern this community could once again be at the center of a criminal investigation.

No arrests have been made at this time as this is an ongoing investigation.
