MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A person was hit and killed by a car on Central Avenue Friday night, according to Memphis Police.
Officers responded to the area of Central Avenue and Zach H. Curlin Street in the University Area around 11:45 p.m. A victim was reportedly located and pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say the driver involved remained on the scene.
