MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person is dead after a shooting in Southeast Memphis Monday evening.

Police say officers responded to the shooting inside the Fox Hollow Townhomes in the 3600 block of Chesterwood Drive at 7:21 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say one male suspect was detained at the scene.

We are still working to learn if the person detained is being charged. MPD said the investigation is ongoing.
